Senior Certificate
- From 2008 (compulsory subjects) and minimum rating scale.
- Grade 12, at an NQF level 4, with minimal requirements for admission to diploma studies, as gazetted for higher education.
- Life (Biology) level 4 or Physical Science level 3.
- Mathematics Literacy level 4 or Mathematics level 3.
